After knowing that like, yeah, I can see why that would be the circumstances leading to the possibly only time Peppertones ever tried to overly 'dress up'. The oversized white shirt and leather (or leather look-a-like) pants? Not something they would usually wear, not even in photoshoots lmao. But they did it for this concert, and honestly, it's not a bad look on them, although it doesn't really suit how they carry themselves/behave. According to this article, they were supposedly dressed like/inspired by DMC (Detroit Metal City), but uh, I'm not sure I really see the resemblance? Maybe I'm understanding the article wrongly.
(Also, I quite like the combination of oversized white shirts and leather pants... on anyone, which I guess includes Peppertones.)
Anyway, footage from that day is rare, but definitely worth watching if you feel like being amused and can stand second hand embarrassment.
