TV | Jangwon on "The Great Escape 2" (Ep 12)

So Jangwon appeared on the recent episode of "The Great Escape 2" (대탈출2) with Ha Seokjin and Kim Jiseok. And I was waiting for it to come out because it seemed interesting from the short teaser showed on "The Brainiacs" and also, it borrowed the plot from the drama "Signal", which was so good. I love that show arghhh.

Anyway, since episode 12 of "The Great Escape" just aired yesterday (2 Jun 2019), I couldn't find English subs so I went ahead to watch the Chinese subbed one first. And damn was this episode good.

I don't watch "The Great Escape 2" usually so I can't say how it compares to their usual show. But for a regular viewer of "The Brainiacs", it's so fun to watch Jangwon, Seokjin and Jiseok escape from a situation where there's a murderer, and solve problems while doing it. The friendship between the 3 of them is something to look out for as well. They're all considered same-aged in Korea (1981-early 1982 born), so I think it played a part in how casual they were with each other. Jiseok is definitely the more touchy feely of the 3 while Seokjin and Jangwon were more rational. And at one point Jiseok tried to initiate a group huddle/hug thing which Jangwon was super not keen on lmao.

대탈출2 12화

Back to the show's escape storyline, the 3 of them had to collaborate with the original cast of "The Great Escape 2" via walkie-talkies and it's really nice to see how they all worked together to escape.

Anyway, enough of me rambling. I'll link the Chinese Subbed episode here for now: click. And I might rewatch this with English subs again, haha.

    1. I watch the brainiacs, but random episodes which looks interesting so I don't think I've seen the ones you mentioned. They are definitely fun to watch together. And yes, I've watched trick and true! Peppertones don't talk that much on it but they're funny when they do talk. I think the dynamics with Jun Hyunmoo (who is the MC) helps too, since he always teases Jangwon :')
